  • 1 pound large shrimp (raw, deveined)
  • 1 pound top sirloin steak (cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • Blackened seasoning
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook penne pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Toss the shrimp with blackened seasoning until coated.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, then cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, add seasoned steak cubes; sear for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
  5. Melt butter in the skillet, add diced onion, and sauté until translucent. Stir in garlic.
  6. Pour in heavy cream while stirring, then add parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Season with remaining blackened seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  7. Combine cooked pasta with the sauce, then return shrimp and steak to the skillet; toss gently to mix.
