Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
- In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk and sugar.
- Cut cold butter into the flour mixture until it resembles small peas.
- Combine buttermilk mix with flour-butter mix until just combined.
- Toss blueberries in flour then gently fold into the dough.
- Roll out dough on a floured surface; fold over several times to create layers.
- Cut biscuits using a biscuit cutter; place them touching in a cast iron skillet.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before glazing with a mixture of powdered sugar, lemon juice, and milk.
