- 1 1/2 tsp paprika
- 12 oz gluten-free farfalle pasta
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 12 oz shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot and cook the gluten-free farfalle pasta until al dente.
- In a small bowl, combine paprika, oregano, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Season the chicken breasts with this mixture.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sear the chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Lower heat and cover to cook for an additional 10-12 minutes until cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet. In the same skillet, melt butter and add shallots, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning; simmer for one minute.
- Stir in flour, then add chicken broth and heavy cream; whisk until smooth.
- Gradually mix in shredded Parmesan until melted.
- Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce; adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if necessary.
- Slice the chicken and serve atop or mixed into the pasta.
