  • 1 ½ pounds chicken tenderloins
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 ounces angel hair pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 red onion, sliced into half-moons
  • ½ red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • ½ yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • ½ green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • ½ cup whipping cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • ¼ teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the angel hair pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Dredge chicken tenders in seasoned flour and sear in olive oil until golden brown. Remove and keep warm.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté sliced onions and peppers, add garlic, then pour in white wine to deglaze. Simmer.
  4. Stir in reserved pasta water and cream; mix until well combined.
  5. Toss cooked pasta with sauce and return chicken to skillet; garnish with parsley before serving.
