  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ¼ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and onion powder. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown.
  3. Remove chicken from skillet and let rest before slicing.
  4. In the same skillet with leftover butter sauce, combine cooked linguine, reserved pasta water, parsley, thyme, lemon juice, and additional seasoning if needed.
  5. Serve topped with sliced chicken and grated Parmesan.
