Instructions

  1. Cook penne pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until no longer pink (6-8 minutes); transfer to a plate.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Stir in flour to form a roux; cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Gradually whisk in chicken broth and heavy cream; add parmesan cheese until smooth.
  5. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes, paprika, and Italian seasoning; simmer until slightly thickened.
