  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente; reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat; sauté onion for 3-4 minutes, then add garlic for another minute.
  3. Add ground beef, breaking it apart until browned (about 6–8 minutes). Drain excess grease.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes; cook for another 2–3 minutes.
  5. Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, simmering for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Mix in Parmesan cheese until melted, then add mozzarella until smooth.
  7. Combine cooked rigatoni with the sauce; adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
