  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seed butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 Tbsp water (as needed)
  • 34 oz dark chocolate
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • Flaked sea salt (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the pea protein, cacao powder, and salt.
  2. Add the sunflower seed butter and vanilla extract, mixing well. Gradually add water until you achieve a playdough-like consistency.
  3. Roll the mixture into tablespoon-sized balls and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  4. Freeze for 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Melt dark chocolate with coconut oil in a saucepan over low heat until smooth.
  6. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off before placing them on parchment paper.
  7. Drizzle leftover chocolate over the balls and sprinkle with flaked sea salt.
