Ingredients
- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 1½ cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- Olive oil, salt, and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the pasta shells in boiling salted water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté minced garlic before adding spinach until wilted.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, egg, sautéed spinach, salt, and pepper.
- Spread marinara sauce in a baking dish; fill pasta shells with the cheese mixture and place them seam-side up.
- Cover with remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle mozzarella on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.
