  • lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 24 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1¼ teaspoons kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 23 tablespoons acid (lemon juice, lime juice, red wine vinegar, or balsamic vinegar)

Instructions

  1. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of ½ inch using a meat mallet.
  2. Poke holes all over the chicken and place it in a zip-top bag with the marinade ingredients. Seal and massage to coat. Marinate for at least 15 minutes or up to 12 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill to high heat (about 475°F).
  4. Grill the chicken for about 4–5 minutes on each side until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
