Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 8 oz linguine or fettuccine noodles
- 4 tsp fresh grated ginger
- 6 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup low-sodium beef broth
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef for about 5 minutes. Add ginger and garlic in the last 2 minutes.
- Cook noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.
- Remove excess fat from skillet and add sugar, broth, soy sauce, hoisin, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Stir to combine.
- Mix cornstarch with water in a bowl; add to skillet and simmer until thickened (2-3 minutes).
