Ingredients
- 1 Honeycrisp apple
- 1 large bunch broccoli (or 12-ounce bag of prepared florets)
- 1/2 cup chopped red onion
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 4 slices bacon (optional)
- For the dressing: plain yogurt
- milk
- apple cider vinegar
- sugar or honey
Instructions
- In a mason jar or small bowl, whisk together yogurt, milk, apple cider vinegar, sugar or honey, salt, and pepper until smooth. Refrigerate.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped apple, broccoli florets, red onion, raisins, and sunflower seeds. Toss well.
- Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and gently toss to coat.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 30–60 minutes before serving.
- Just before serving, sprinkle with crumbled bacon if desired.
