  • 2 (8 oz) packages softened cream cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • ⅔ cup sugar
  • ⅔ cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 12 chopped Oreos (for the filling)
  • Optional: chocolate ganache made with 1 cup dark chocolate chips and heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a springform pan with parchment paper and wrap it in aluminum foil.
  2. Crush Oreos for the crust and mix with melted butter; press into the pan and bake for 8–10 minutes.
  3. Reduce oven temperature to 325°F. Beat cream cheese, eggs, sugar, sour cream, vanilla, and salt until smooth. Fold in chopped Oreos.
  4. Pour batter into crust, bake in a water bath for about 75 minutes, then cool slowly in the oven.
  5. Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight before adding optional chocolate ganache.
