  • 2 tubes refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 pound sliced Swiss cheese
  • 1 1/4 pounds sliced deli corned beef
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
  • 2/3 cup Thousand Island salad dressing
  • 1 egg white, lightly beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out one tube of crescent dough to fit a greased 13×9-inch baking dish, sealing seams.
  3. Bake the base crust for 8–10 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. In a bowl, mix sauerkraut with Thousand Island dressing.
  5. Layer half the Swiss cheese on the baked crust, followed by corned beef, sauerkraut mixture, and remaining cheese.
  6. Roll out the second crescent tube on top; brush with egg white and sprinkle with caraway seeds.
  7. Bake for an additional 12–16 minutes or until golden brown.
