  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 onion (diced)
  • 8 oz wide egg noodles (cooked)
  • 2 cans (14 oz each) sauerkraut (drained)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cans (10.75 oz each) tomato soup
  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • Garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with diced onions and seasonings.
  3. Layer drained sauerkraut in the baking dish, followed by brown sugar.
  4. Add cooked egg noodles on top, then spread the beef mixture evenly.
  5. In a bowl, mix tomato soup with water and pour over layers.
  6. Top with shredded Swiss cheese.
  7. Bake for 30–45 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
