  • 1 pound bulk pork sausage
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages refrigerated crescent rolls

Instructions

  1. Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned and crumbly (about 10 minutes). Drain excess grease and cool.
  2. Roll out one package of crescent rolls on wax paper and pinch seams together to form a sheet.
  3. Spread half of the cream cheese over the dough, then layer with half of the cooled sausage and shredded cheddar.
  4. Roll tightly into a log using the wax paper for assistance; wrap in plastic wrap.
  5. Repeat with remaining ingredients to form a second log.
  6. Chill both logs in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour until firm.
  7. Preheat oven to 375°F. Slice each log into 1/2-inch pinwheels.
  8. Arrange on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
