  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for crust)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for cream layer)
  • 8 oz whipped topping, thawed
  • 6 oz strawberry Jello
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 lb sliced strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in sugar and then mix in crushed pretzels until coated.
  3. Press the pretzel mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool completely.
  4. In a bowl, dissolve strawberry Jello in boiling water and allow to cool to room temperature.
  5. Using an electric mixer, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.
  6. Spread the cream mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
  7. Stir strawberries into the cooled Jello and pour over the cream layer.
  8. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours or until the Jello is set.
