Ingredients
- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup sugar (for crust)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar (for cream layer)
- 8 oz whipped topping, thawed
- 6 oz strawberry Jello
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 lb sliced strawberries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in sugar and then mix in crushed pretzels until coated.
- Press the pretzel mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool completely.
- In a bowl, dissolve strawberry Jello in boiling water and allow to cool to room temperature.
- Using an electric mixer, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.
- Spread the cream mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
- Stir strawberries into the cooled Jello and pour over the cream layer.
- Refrigerate for 2-3 hours or until the Jello is set.
