Ingredients

  • 15 oz Italian sausage, crumbled
  • 8 oz rigatoni (uncooked)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 5 oz fresh spinach
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the crumbled sausage until browned. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add uncooked rigatoni, chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic, Italian seasoning, and tomato sauce to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  3. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for about 10-15 minutes until the pasta is al dente.
  4. Stir in fresh spinach and cook until wilted (about 2 minutes). Adjust sauce thickness as desired.
